This article provides the prerequisites and step-by-step instructions for installing the Bazaarvoice Reviews & Photos app specifically on Shopify 2.0 themes. By following these steps, you can install the app and begin the setup for key features such as Ratings & Reviews and Galleries. This process includes verifying that your product data meets requirements before installation.
Note: The steps in this section apply only to stores using a Shopify 2.0 theme. For stores using a Shopify vintage theme, refer to the Shopify vintage theme topic.
Before you begin
In Shopify, confirm that:
- Each of your active Shopify products or product variants has a defined barcode in Shopify. This can be a GTIN, UPC, or ISBN.
- The product vendor matches the brand name of the Shopify product. The vendor will be sent as the "brand" to Bazaarvoice.
To install and configure the Bazaarvoice Reviews & Photos app:
- Sign in to your Shopify admin
. - Select the search bar at the top of the page and then select Apps.
- Search for Bazaarvoice Reviews & Photos.
- Review the permissions for the Bazaarvoice Reviews & Photos app, select Install App. The app opens automatically.
