Export to CSV
Export a real-time snapshot of your Questions & Answers content to a comma-separated value (CSV) file and email to your colleagues.
Before exporting, use filters to narrow the size of your questions list.
-
From the List View, select the ellipses icon (...) in the upper-right corner.
- Select Export to CSV. A progress spinner indicates that the download is in progress.
- When the export is complete, the CSV file is saved to your default Downloads folder. Each row in the downloaded CSV file represents one product, and the questions or answers related to that product ID.
Don’t close your Questions & Answers tab during the download. You can continue working in the solution.
CSV file
There are two types of column headers in the CSV file:
- Fixed column headers: These column headers are static and will always appear in a specific order in the exported CSV file. They hold important information about each product and related questions.
- Dynamic column headers: These column headers can vary. As the CSV file is downloaded, these columns will be inserted dynamically to include any custom data relevant to your products.

Export FAQs
Why does my export stop when I leave Questions & Answers?
The export download will stop if you close the Questions & Answers page as this interrupts the reports generator connection. Make sure you keep the Questions & Answers tab open until the download finishes.
Can I work in other tabs or apps while waiting for export download to complete?
Yes. You can continue working in Questions & Answers. You can navigate to the detail view of a question or answer a question on list view.
You can also open another tab and work in Ratings & Reviews. Just make sure the Questions & Answers tab remains active until the export finishes.
Why is the CSV export capacity limited to 100,000 reviews?
To make sure that this functionality consistently performs well, we've set a cap of 100,000 questions for CSV exports. Workbench currently allows a maximum of 65,000 records.
