Source and add content

You can source and add brand-owned and user-generated content (UGC) in multiple ways in Bazaarvoice Vibe.

Upload media to Vibe

Follow these steps to upload media to Vibe:

  1. In Vibe, select the + icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Upload Media.
  3. Select and open your media.
  4. Your media will start uploading. You'll receive a notification in the upper-right corner of the page when it's imported.

Import from Dropbox

Before you can import items from Dropbox, you must connect your account.

Follow these steps to connect your Dropbox account to Vibe:

  1. In Vibe, select the + icon in the top right corner of the page.
  2. Select Import from Dropbox.
  3. Sign in to your Dropbox account. Your Dropbox account should now be connected to Vibe.
Follow these steps to import content from Dropbox:
  1. In Vibe, select the + icon in the top right corner of the page.
  2. Select the checkbox next to each media item you want to import.
  3. Select Choose. Your content should now appear in your Media Library.

View content from your connected accounts

Before you can view content from your Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest accounts, you must connect them to Vibe.

Follow these steps to view content from your Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest accounts in Vibe:

  1. In Vibe, select Content > Library.
  2. Select the drop-down menu in the upper-left corner. Deselect the All Media checkbox at the top of the menu.
  3. Under Instagram, select the checkbox next to Feed or Story to view Instagram content.
  4. Select the TikTok checkbox to view TikTok content.
  5. Select the Pinterest checkbox to view Pinterest content.
  6. Select the YouTube checkbox to view YouTube content.

View Instagram mentioned and tagged content

In Vibe, select Publishing > Analytics > Mentioned & Tagged. On this page, you can view Instagram posts where your connected Instagram accounts have been mentioned or tagged. Learn how to connect multiple Instagram accounts for mentioned and tagged content.

Sort and filter the content by using the options at the top of the page.

View TikTok mentioned content

In Vibe, select Publishing > Analytics > UGC under TikTok. On this page, you can view TikTok posts where your connected TikTok account has been mentioned.

View content from tracked creators and hashtags

Track a hashtag

Follow these steps to track a hashtag in Vibe: 

  1. In Vibe, select the Content tab, then Library. From the left-hand navigation, select Hashtags.

  2. Under Add hashtags to track, type the hashtag you want to start tracking. Select the Track hashtag button to start tracking the new hashtag.

You can see the following details about your tracked hashtags in the table:

The hashtag you are tracking. You can select the hashtag to navigate to its details page and view content and analytics relating to the hashtag.

How your hashtag is being used. Possible options include:

  • Tracking in Vibe: You are currently tracking this hashtag in Vibe.

  • Untracked: You are no longer tracking this hashtag.

  • Untracked 2d ago: You have started the process of untracking this hashtag, but it may take up to seven days to fully stop tracking.

  • Used elsewhere: You are using or tracking this hashtag in a platform outside of Vibe.


Tracked date
The date when you started tracking the hashtag.

Action
Select the relevant option to track or untrack the hashtag

You can filter this table by All Hashtags, Tracking in Vibe, or Untracked.

Note: If you remove an Instagram handle from your Vibe account, your historic content will remain, but newer content associated with that hashtag won’t be tracked. 

View tracked hashtag content

After you've tracked a hashtag, you can view Instagram posts where this hashtag appears. 

Follow these steps to view tracked hashtag content in Vibe:

  1. In Vibe, select Content > Library.
  2. Select the drop-down menu in the upper-left corner. Deselect the All Media checkbox at the top of the menu.
  3. Under Tracked Hashtags, select the checkbox next to each hashtag you want to view content for. You can also select the Tracked Hashtags checkbox to view content from all your hashtags.

    View creator content

    Individual creator

    After you've added a creator to a list, you can view Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube posts from their accounts.

    Follow these steps to view creator content from individual creators in Vibe:

    1. In Vibe, select Creators > Discover.
    2. Under Creator Lists, select the creator list that includes the creator you want to view content from.
    3. Select the creator you want to view content from.
    4. Their content will appear on the Media tab.

    Alternatively, you can select a creator from anywhere that they appear in Vibe.

    Follow these steps to view content from whole creator lists in Vibe:

    1. In Vibe, select Creators > Discover.
    2. Under Creator Lists, select the creator list that you want to view content from.
    3. Select the Media tab.

    Multiple creators

    Follow these steps to view content from multiple creators in Vibe:

    1. In Vibe, select Content > Library.
    2. Select the drop-down menu in the upper-left corner. Deselect the All Media checkbox at the top of the menu.
    3. Under Tracked Users, select the checkbox next to each creator you want to view content from. You can also select the Tracked Users checkbox to view content from all your tracked users.

    Historic content

    Content will start to be pulled in once you connect your Instagram account to Vibe. Once you’ve done this, the historic content pulled in from your account will vary depending on how this content was created. 

    • Brand-owned Instagram feed –– all historic content from your brand’s own Instagram feed will be pulled in.

    • Tagged content  –– the last 90 days of tagged content will be pulled in initially and will be retained for 90 days. This excludes content from private accounts. If no action is taken within 90 days, this content will be removed. 

    • Mentioned content:

      • Instagram –– mentioned content created on or after the date when you connect your Instagram account to Vibe will be pulled in. We are unable to pull in historical mentioned content.

      • TikTok ––  mentioned content created on or after the date when you connect your TikTok account to Vibe will be pulled in. Up to 1000 posts that have mentioned your brand in the 90 days prior to connecting your TikTok account to Vibe will also be pulled in, sorted by the highest number of likes in that 90 day period.

    • Hashtags –– the last 24 hours of content will be pulled in and will be retained for 90 days. If no action is taken within 90 days, this content will be removed.

    To pull in content beyond this scope, you will need to download this content directly from Instagram and reupload into your Media Library in Vibe. You will then be able to tag products or take other actions via Vibe.
